The Bay Hotel in Newquay is bringing a traditional Burns Night to the Cornish coastline - on Saturday 23rd January 2010, with a special event which is raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Celebrating the life of the famous poet Robert Burns, the evening will be full of bag pipers playing, quality malt whiskey flowing and of course the infamous address to the haggis!
Ticket prices are £22.00 per head to include a sit-down three course meal with coffee and mints, a tot of whiskey and a live band playing through till the wee hours. Organised in conjunction with Cornwall Air Ambulance, a proportion of the tickets sales will be donated to the charity. A raffle will take place on the evening with prizes including a luxury treatment at the prestigious Fistral Spa.
If you're far from your Scottish home or would just like to enjoy a fun evening to brighten up a January night, call The Bay Hotel on 01637 852 221 to book or for more information. A special accommodation rate is available at £30 per person per night in a standard room including Full English Breakfast and use of Fistral Spa facilities.
