Sponsorship and Equipment

Why not sponsor a Cornwall Air Ambulance event - or part of one? Event sponsorship can be in the form of financial support or the provision of equipment.

Alternatively, your company could help provide lifesaving equipment for our aircraft. With the severity of the incidents we attends, we are always looking for ways to ensure our patients get the best care possible. We always have a sponsorship 'wish list' of items the Paramedics have identified would further enhance patient care.

We are also keen to hear from companies interested in supplying equipment for our offices and crew room. Many local companies provide equipment free of charge or at a reduced rate, helping keep our overheads low and ensuring more funds go straight to keeping the aircraft flying.

Charity of the Year and Employee Fundraising

Why not nominate Cornwall Air Ambulance as your Charity of the Year? This can represent an excellent PR opportunity, demonstrating your company's commitment to Cornwall, and is a really fun way to help keep us flying. You could organsie one-off or regular fundraising events for your colleagues - from a dress down day to a coffee morning or raffling a day's annual leave, anything goes!

Many companies also operate Match Funding and match the amount their employees raise, perhaps through taking part in a sponsored event or activity - again a great way to build good relations with your staff.

Proceeds From Sales

An increasing number of companies in Cornwall are choosing to donate a proportion of sales to the charity, with examples including Polgoon Vineyard's 'Heli Berry' cider, The Cornish Crisp Co's 'Resusci-tater' crisps, and the Driftwood Spars' 'Red Mission' Ale. A £1 donation for tour upgrades at the Camel Valley Vineyard have raised over £9,000 over the years. We even have a locksmith who gives a percentage of his emergency callout fee to the charity!

This is a great way to enable both your business and your customers to support the charity, and the PR opportunities are excellent.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is another way for your company to get involved and encourage your staff to donate to the charity. The scheme is simple to operate and can help build good relations with your employees, ensuring that their donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance cost them less and the taxman more! Wilko's Stores, Cornwall

Wilko’s Cornwall stores chose Cornwall Air Ambulance as their nominated charity of the year from May 2013 until April 2015. Their team members got on board with fundraising in so many different ways, from taking part in our first ‘It’s A Cornish Knockout’ competition, taking on the ‘Apprentice’ style ‘Charity Shop Challenge’ to see which store could raise the most in one day, and organising their own fundraising events, from collections to a fishing match! They also had our ‘Donation Stations’ in-store to allow customers to donate to our charity shops.
