How your time can help keep us flying...

It's not just finanical donations that can make a difference and help keep Cornwall Air Ambulance flying.

The goodwill and support of our volunteers saves the charity significant money. Our volunteers also provide vital points of contact in communities throughout the county.

Volunteering can also be a great way to boost your CV, make new friends, and help a great Cornish charity.

Retail

There's always plenty to do in our shops, with roles available to suit everybody – whether you like to be the face of the charity by talking to and serving customers, or would prefer to volunteer behind the scenes sorting and pricing donated items. Perhaps you see yourself as a budding Mary Portas and would enjoy arranging the window display?!

Wherever you live in Cornwall, there's a Cornwall Air Ambulance shop near you. We have stores in Saltash, Wadebridge, Helston, St Austell, Newquay and Camborne. Volunteering in our shops is a great way to gain experience and qualifications, meet new people, and have a lot of fun whilst helping keep Cornwall Air Ambulance flying.

Event support

We simply could not run the huge range of events we do without the support, energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers. Every day is different – you might be staffing a stall at the Royal Cornwall Show, selling raffle tickets at a Christmas Ball, or marshalling at one of our sporting events.

Volunteering at events with Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust is a brilliant way to meet new people and have great fun, attending some of Cornwall's top events.

Office Volunteers

We also need volunteers to help us in our busy fundraising office, assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks, from preparing for events to helping maintain our supporter relations.

Become a Community Ambassador

If you have experience in public speaking or giving presentations, you could help us by speaking to community groups, schools and clubs, or attending cheque presentations and community events on behalf of the charity.

We're particularly keen to hear from people in the far east and west of Cornwall, as it's often difficult for us to attend talks in these areas owing to travel costs.
